In 1988, at just 22 years old, our founder built his first packing machine for Sikandar Shahi Zarda Factory — a tobacco company behind the Champa Surti brand — and delivered it in 15 days flat, all the way from Pratapgarh to Faridabad. The client drove down in person for one reason: he wanted three more.
That momentum led to an order for five machines from a pan masala packer in Jaipur — enough confidence to start knocking door-to-door across every pan masala manufacturer in Kanpur, in an era with no internet, no computers, and no mobile phones. Within a year, the client list included one of India's largest pan masala houses — a relationship that became exclusive: they never bought from anyone else again. Over 5,000 machines followed across India's pan masala and tobacco industry alone.
The business then expanded into consumer goods — small-sachet lines for Hindustan Unilever, pouch tea packing for Tata Tea, and hundreds of machines for Velvet Shampoo as the brand scaled nationally. When India's pan masala industry came under excise scrutiny in 2007, we responded by engineering a new generation of high-speed machines — a lineage that today produces the world's fastest lines: 3,400 pouches/minute for tobacco and 2,700 pouches/minute for pan masala.
In 2017, we entered Sweden — the historic home of snus — installing 150 machines for major Swedish and international tobacco players. That was the turning point into full automation for the global snus and nicotine pouch industry we lead today.
